2 hour special class to move the body, release the mind and relax the soul
Service Description
In this class you will experience the benefits of a gentle hatha flow, with optional vinyasa's to open the heart and build warmth in the body for the first 45mins. Building the yoga sequence towards a master posture, which will be explored through the use of props, walls & optional teacher assistance. Thinking about how we can break the posture down to gain more awareness of the body. The second half of the class will be 30mins of Yin Yoga; floor based postures held for a longer period of time to support and massage the deeper connective tissues of the body. To include witnessing the breath and mindfully acknowledging emotions with out judgement. The final 15mins of the class will be a yoga nidra (yogic sleep) practice in a supported comfortable posture to fully release and enter that dream like state between sleeping and being awake. An extended dream Savasana to soak up all the benefits of this beneficial practice. Deep relaxation is so important as nature transitions we need to allow our bodies to also slowly adjust. The reduced light and temperature will have an effect on our energy levels, so this sequence will be carefully designed in order to reach a state of release through Mind, Movement, Breath work. We will connect for the final 30mins to have tea & cake, some journal questions & closing sharing circle
